SAMSA in association with CRY organised the third camp under the banner ‘UDAAN’ at the Dhapa action area of CRY.
With over 20 medical students and over 7 CRY volunteers, the camp was nothing less of a success.
Around 70 children, of ages 2 to 15, residents of the locality were screened for any physical or mental health problems. The children requiring thorough check up and investigations were referred to Nil Ratan Sircar Medical college and Hospital, Sealdah.
SAMSA thanks CRY for the platform, and looks forward to more such camps.
We are also please to announce that this event, for the first time in the history of SAMSA, included 3 non-medical volunteers under the SAMSA Internships program. We hope that this marks the beginning of an intricate collaboration between medicos and non-medicos for a better future of healthcare.
