South Asian Medical Students’ Association organized a Health camp on 20th May, 2018 at Mato Village, Howrah district from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm, in association with Mato Sangskritik Mancha, a local NGO at Mato Village.
Our aim was to provide medical relief to around 200 local residents ( including adults and children ). We were a group of 40 containing mostly medical students and a few intern doctors. Free medication was provided to whoever needed them. It was a wholesome experience for us and beneficial for the local residents as well as many problems were  identified and wherever necessary, referral was advised.
‘Mato Sangskritik Mancha’ awarded SAMSA with a trophy as a token of their appreciation for our work towards a brighter tomorrow.
